The Cairnmillar Institute is a not-for-profit registered health promotion charity that has been providing high quality professional education and accessible psychological services to promote the psychological wellness of the community for nearly 60 years. We have been a Higher Education Provider since 2005 and offer postgraduate programs in psychology and counselling as well as short courses and professional development for mental health professionals and the community. In addition to higher education, we run a range of research and community intervention programs and have several psychology and assessment clinics and partnerships across Victoria.
The successful candidate will teach Research Methods in the Postgraduate Psychology Programs and coordinate research methods teaching in the School. The appointee will supervise honours and/or higher degree student theses and consult with students and their supervisors on appropriate research methods for their research proposal. The appointee will contribute to collaborative research projects and/or external partnerships and research culture.
The successful candidate will hold the following:
• Masters or Doctoral degree in psychology
• Registration with AHPRA, preferably clinical psychology endorsement
