About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and flexible Psychologist to join our Melbourne team working out of our offices and/or from home as required. Whilst the primary focus of the position will be to deliver quality trauma services to our broad customer base, there will also be the opportunity to deliver coaching, advice to managers, EAP counselling and organisational development duties as required and fitting the psychologist’s skills.

About you:

The ideal candidate will be driven, flexible, and good at thinking on their feet. They will be skilled at providing face to face and/or telephone counselling services tailored to reduce psychological distress experienced by clients exposed to traumatic events. They will also be:


  • A registered psychologist with at least five years' experience
  • Skilled in short term counselling and psychological first aid
  • Experience in stakeholder management and possess report writing skills
  • Passionate about staff well-being and proactively reducing long term risks of critical incidents
  • Flexible and adaptable with a can-do attitude
  • Experienced supporting individuals, teams and organisations following critical incidents (highly desirable)


Given the requirement for travel, a current drivers licence and your own transport is highly desirable.
