  • PsychSessions is a vibrant and busy private psychology practice in Canberra with clinics in the city centre and Deakin (see We are seeking competent psychologists or clinical psychologists to provide evidence-based therapy on Saturdays (and/or Sundays and evenings).

Job Description:

Successful applicants will be responsible for all aspects of providing therapy to their own client load. They will also enjoy the support of similarly focussed colleagues, including our support staff and clinical director, and the security of working for an established practice with a strong referral base and good reputation. We are looking for applicants who are enthusiastic, able to work autonomously, and who enjoy being part of a supportive team.

Hours: Saturdays and/or Sundays and evenings, at a negotiable times, starting soon.

Eligibility requirements:
- an appropriate post-graduate degree in Psychology (essential, meaning Masters, DPsych or PhD(Clin.Psych)

- full (unconditional) registration with the Psychology Board of Australia

- eligibility for registration with Medicare to provide focussed psychological strategies or clinical psychology services.

Renumeration: A choice of casual employment , permanent part-time, or contractor.

For employees, Public Liability insurance is provided and you'll be paid for attendance at staff meetings, as well as provided with some supervision and contributions towards your professional development.
