The Manager Psychological Services is responsible for the leadership and
management of a multi-disciplinary team which provides a strategic state-wide
function to provide high quality evidence based assessment of criminogenic risk
and cognitive and personality measures and assessment and treatment of
prisoners at risk of suicide and self-harm. The position also has
oversight of prisoners pursuant to the Criminal Law (High Risk Offenders) Act
2015 and Section 23 of the Criminal Law (Sentencing) Act 1988.
position has direct management of the psychologists in the Sentence Management
team. The Manager Psychological Services provides high level oversight
and input into the Serious Offender Committee and consultancy and supervision
for staff delivering the Psychological Skills Group at the Adelaide Women’s
Essential: Registered with the Psychology Board of Australia pursuant to
the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (2009) and a Master's Degree in
Clinical or Forensic Psychology.
Desirable: Evidence of self-initiated continuing professional
development such as higher qualifications.
