We are seeking candidates with experience in the
provision of mental health care services to patients in the PORTS Clinic. Use
your knowledge and experience delivering clinical care based on Cognitive
Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Solutions Focussed Brief Therapy (SFBT) models to
provide online and telephone based psychology services to patients experiencing
a range of symptoms related to anxiety, depression and related other
conditions. You will conduct psychological assessments and support patients
through a comprehensive stepped-care model of treatments. You will also be
involved in the development and delivery of approaches used and participate in
supervision and patient management processes.

Clinic operations are Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm

To be considered, you will demonstrate the below

qualification in psychology, occupational therapy, nursing or social work or a
related field and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner
Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or relevant registration body.
- At least 2 years’ of clinical experience providing
mental health care services across a range of contexts and populations.
- Experience in the delivery of CBT models, risk
assessments and interventions with high regard for experience in the delivery
of SFBT interventions.
- Demonstrated sound verbal and written communication
skills with an ability to build rapport and empathise with patients.
- Knowledge of, and commitment to, evidence-based and
patient-centred clinical practice.
- Ability to prioritise and manage workloads within
established routines, methods and procedures.
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary
healthcare team to provide high quality patient care.
