Anglicare NT is very excited to announce we have two new headspace programs commencing in the Northern Territory.
In Darwin, we welcome the new ‘Enhanced Care Program’ that will support young people experiencing complex mental health issues. The program will provide intensive coordinated care that addresses the challenges young people may experience in accessing appropriate and effective mental health treatment. In Katherine, we welcome the opening of the new headspace Katherine hub, which will provide primary mental health services for young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health concerns.

About the Position
As the face of headspace Darwin, you will provide high quality professional reception coverage to ensure the provision of youth-friendly, family inclusive and culturally respectful professional services to the community as required at the headspace Darwin service. This will include: welcoming clients, staff, visitors and the general public, booking client appointments, arranging vehicle and room bookings, providing information and managing queries as well as coordinating use and maintenance of facilities. You will also provide direct administration assistance to teams based at the Casuarina site. To be successful you will have a minimum 2 years’ experience in office administration, preferably in medical background (essential) and prior experience or at a minimum demonstrated commitment to working respectfully with Aboriginal and culturally and linguistically diverse clients, communities and staff. You will also have the ability to work outside of ordinary hours Monday to Friday.
Please note: It is a requirement that prior to commencing in this role, you must possess an Ochre Card (Working with Children Clearance), a National Criminal History Check (within 3 months) and a current Northern Territory manual driver’s licence.
