Cairns Regional Domestic Violence Service Inc. (CRDVS) aims to use its special knowledge and skills to prevent domestic and family violence in the community and to empower those affected by it. 

CRDVS's vision is "Making a difference – bringing domestic and family violence to an end".  We seek to do this by providing a comprehensive and client centred quality service to all vulnerable clients. The organisation provides a confidential and free service for family members who have experienced, or are currently experiencing, domestic and family violence. CRDVS will at all times strive to uphold high levels of professionalism and accountability.

The service is staffed by a close-knit team of qualified professionals with experience in adult and child counselling, court support and training.

About the Opportunity

Cairns Regional Domestic Violence Service Inc. (CRDVS) now has a rewarding opportunity for a full-time Senior Practitioner - Domestic & Family Violence Counselling to join their team in Cairns, QLD, with occasional travel to the other CRDVS offices as required.

This pivotal role is responsible for leading, managing and supporting the Cairns counselling team and assisting the Senior Management Team in developing and maintaining the CRDVS client programmes.

In addition, you will work to ensure CRDVS delivers an effective, innovative and quality domestic violence service to clients and stakeholders.
