SPELD NSW is seeking to engage up to two consultant psychologists to provide assessments on a flexible basis. These consultants will work with SPELD NSW to provide psycho-educational assessments for children, adolescents and adults who may have specific learning disabilities.
Consultant psychologists will be asked to provide all necessary testing materials to conduct the assessments and to undertake testing and reporting in accordance with the national SPELD approach to assessments.
Consultant psychologists will be given the opportunity to participate in professional development in evidence-based literacy and numeracy programs and approaches.
SPELD NSW provides information, support and assistance to children and adults with specific learning difficulties like dyslexia and to their families, tutors, teachers and schools.
