Clinical Psychologist Contractor in Southern Sydney – Sylvania Waters



Integral Psychology is a modern, warm, professional private practice currently looking for a Senior Psychologist or an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team.


Our practice is specifically focussed on the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of anxiety disorders and we also treat a range of presenting problems such as depression, relationship concerns, body image concerns, adjustment, parenting concerns, grief and emotional regulation issues for example – so there is a good variety of clinical work.


We see adults, adolescents and children and we pride ourselves on providing warm, high-quality and evidence-based therapy to our clients.


With an established practice for 14 years and solid relationships with doctors, psychiatrists, other psychologists and schools in the area, we are seeking a Senior Psychologist and/or experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team for two days (or more) if desired for a contractor position.

Essential criteria

  • A minimum of two years post graduate clinical experience. More experience will be highly regarded.
  • Registration as a psychologist with AHPRA;
  • Eligibility to provide Medicare psychological services
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance
  • Registered ABN
  • A warm manner, with the ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Solid experience and competence using CBT and other evidence- based therapies e.g. ACT, DBT, Schema Therapy, IPT  
  • Excellent written communication and record-keeping
  • Commitment to clients of the practice and to the practice team
  • Commitment to ethical practice and engagement in regular professional development


Desirable Criteria

  • Availability to see clients at least one evening or Saturdays.
  • Private practice experience
The successful applicant will have regular access to individual and group clinical supervision.  Engagement in regular professional development is strongly encouraged.
