Irabina is Victoria’s largest special intervention service for children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). A not-for-profit, they deliver best practice therapy, support and education services to children and young people, families, professionals and community members and are dedicated to transforming the lives of people and families living with Autism. Currently experiencing organisational growth, they are now seeking a motivated Team Leader to join their highly dedicated team of psychologists.
Reporting to the Community Hub Manager, you will supervise a team of five psychologists as well as students undergoing placements. You will develop your team, providing supportive leadership and upskilling staff in order to ensure optimum performance and cohesion. Key to your success will be your ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders, as well as build the Irabina brand and reputation by presenting at relevant events and conferences. In addition, you will undertake a high-level review of current processes, with a focus on ensuring highly quality and best practice processes.
You are a registered psychologist and registered supervisor, with experience in a service environment such as community health or private practice. Priding yourself on your excellent communication skills, you have the ability to adapt your style to ensure you clearly and effectively engage and support a wide variety of people including children and their families. This is not a purely clinical role and you will utilise your savvy business sense so that team and organisational KPIs and objectives are met. Don’t miss out on this key role within an organisation that makes a meaningful difference to the lives of children and adolescents living with Autism.
