Psychologist / Clinical Psychologist

Our established private allied health practice is looking for a new psychologist to join us!  We currently offer services in Thornbury, Footscray and across northern Melbourne.  The advertised position will be based mainly at our Thornbury rooms. 

We provide a diverse range of therapy, clinical, group and counselling services, serving a broad range of private fee-paying clients, including Medicare, TAC, NDIS, and HCWA funded clients.

We are seeking expressions of interest from qualified Psychologists who are dedicated and enjoy working autonomously and also within a multidisciplinary environment.  Applicants will work collaboratively within our team, which includes another Psychologist, Speech Patholgoists, Occupational Therapists and Music Therapists.

Our clinic rooms are light and bright, the team is dynamic and enthusiastic, and we are well supported by 3 administrators.  

This postion will suit someone who is passionate about their work and in suporting families to and clients to fulfill their potential, and who wishes to be involved in a vibrant and well established practice, with a strong professional referall network, and a great reputation in our community.

We're seeking a new team member for 1-2 days per week (including weekend work and after hours sessions if desired), however this can be flexible, and there is capacity to build hours /locations over time.  

Remuneration is offered at above-award rates, and hours of work are flexible and easy to work around family / life commitments.

Applicants are required to fulfil the following criteria:

  • Registered psychologist (APHRA)
  • Post graduation experience (min. 2 years preferred but not required)
  • Member, or eligible for membership, of an APS College 
  • Experience / interest in running group programs for parents or children
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience in working within a mulltidisciplinary team
