The Child and Adolescent
Development Service (CAADS) is a multidisciplinary practice committed to
supporting the wellbeing of young people and their families. We provide quality
assessment and proven interventions, across psychology, speech pathology and
occupational therapy, to assist clients to understand and manage a wide range
of concerns. We offer a comfortable work environment with a friendly
professional team, full reception support and ongoing client referrals.
We are looking for an experienced
psychologist with a minimum of two years’ experience providing intervention to
younger children, particularly children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other
developmental concerns. There will be opportunity to work with older children
and adolescents, for those with broader experience. The position is for two
days per week, with potential to build hours in accordance with service demand.
Postgraduate qualifications in educational and/or developmental psychology
would be welcomed, as would previous private practice experience.
The successful applicant
will require full registration with the Australian Health Practitioners
Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and eligibility for a Medicare Provide Number. Professional Indemnity Insurance and Public Liability
Insurance are essential. An Australian Business Number (ABN) or willingness to
obtain an ABN is also necessary. Suitable applicants with ability for immediate
start will be preferred.
