The McKellar Centre is a recently upgraded facility located only minutes from the centre of Geelong. The centre is a 100 bed inpatient facility offering rehabilitation in Palliative care, Geriatric evaluation and management, Stroke, Trauma, orthopaedic and amputee service. The McKellar Centre offers a range of professional aged care services. It is situated on a vibrant community asset with parkland surrounds and incorporates state of the art equipment.
About the role

Your role will be within a busy and active team of Psychologists in the division of Community Health & Rehabilitation Services. In this role you will be responsible for psychological assessment and consumer-centred intervention within the inpatient and community rehabilitation centres. You will also be required to provide consultation to the rehabilitation team in relation to psychological issues associated with injury or medical conditions with the aim of maximizing the efficacy of the full range of rehabilitation interventions delivered.
