We pride ourselves in utilising positive psychology frameworks for promoting the recovery of people the psychological illness / injury, and encouraging their personal resilience and growth through adversity.

We are looking for enthusiastic people to join our expanding team to conduct recovery and assessment activities with workers with psychological injuries / mental illnesses. All cases which come to us involve complex and challenging psychological conditions, and at times also involve Axis 2 diagnoses.

The successful applicant/s can be employed in a permanent FT, PT or casual / contract capacity, allowing for work flexibility and management of other commitments. 

If you have experience working with people with a psychological diagnosis, as well as having a passion for positive psychology, then it is likely you would enjoy this varied role. The position will involve assessments of diagnosis, case recovery activities to assist with recovery, organisational consulting, and treatment management. 

Our focus on quality service provision is a quality which we require to be respected by our staff. We provide a supportive management team of Psychologists who are motivated for continual improvement and staff development. Position Requirements

The successful applicants MUST have:

  • Full Registration as a Psychologist (mandatory);

  • Minimum 2 years vocational rehabilitation experience working as a Rehabilitation Psychologist (mandatory);

  • Experience performing rehabilitation services for Life Insurance cases and/or federal/state based Workers Compensation claims;

  • Demonstrated report writing to a high quality, and excellent interpersonal skills;

  • Knowledge of workplace factors impacting on employees' psychological well-being;

  • Knowledge of biopsychosocial factors impacting recovery from mental health issues;

  • Willingness to work within a positive psychology approach to injury management;

  • Ability to advocate for the Health Benefits of Good Work;

  • The ability to liaise and consult with various professionals at all levels;

  • The ability to work autonomously within strict timeframes to produce high quality assessment reports to exacting standards;

  • The willingness to receive ongoing professional development and coaching within a supportive team environment;

  • The ability to travel throughout Sydney metropolitan and regional NSW areas as required;

  • High quality standards for personal written and verbal

  • ABN and Professional Indemnity Insurance (or ability to obtain) for contractors;

  • Own vehicle, computer and internet access.

The successful applicants may have:

  • Previous experience working in an outplacement setting

  • Psychological Assessment experience

  • Previous clinical / EAP experience
